This policy explains what GuzoTrips collects when drivers use the GuzoTrips Driver app and when passengers receive a trip link, and how that information is used.

What we collect

Driver account: name and phone number.
Vehicle and documents: licence number, vehicle make, model, colour and plate number, plus the scanned documents and photos you upload for approval.
Trips: pickup and drop-off locations, route distance, duration, fare and time.
Location: your device location while you use the app, which is used to measure trips.
Passengers: the phone number a driver enters so a trip link can be sent by SMS. Passengers do not need an account.

How we use it

To sign you in and review your documents.
To run the meter, calculate fares and keep trip records.
To send sign-in codes and trip links by SMS.
To provide support and to keep the service secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers for SMS delivery, maps, hosting and network security, and they receive only what they need to provide those services.

We disclose driver identity, vehicle details, trip logs and earnings data to Ethiopian government, transport, tax or law enforcement authorities upon lawful official request. Drivers acknowledge this when they register.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct your information or delete your account. We may keep records that we are legally required to retain. You can turn off location or camera access in your phone settings, but the meter or document upload may not work without them.

We will update this page if this policy changes.
