Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the GuzoTrips Driver app and service. By registering, you agree to them.

The service

GuzoTrips gives taxi drivers a digital meter on their phone and lets passengers follow a trip through a link sent by SMS.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep your phone number and documents up to date.
• You can start driving only after your documents are approved.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.

As a driver

• You must hold a valid licence and the vehicle documents the law requires.
• You must follow traffic and transport laws.
• You must use the meter honestly and must not tamper with trips or fares.
• You must enter a passenger's phone number only to send that passenger their trip link.

Disclosure to authorities

GuzoTrips will disclose your personal identity, vehicle details, trip logs and earnings data to Ethiopian government, transport, tax or law enforcement authorities upon lawful official request.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, uses false documents, or puts passengers or others at risk.

The app

Fares and distances depend on your phone's GPS and network, so they can be affected by signal quality. The service may sometimes be unavailable, including for maintenance.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia.
